MHC is a Windows-compatible software application that enables the remote monitoring and control of a micro-hydropower plant (MHC). The application provides real-time monitoring of the parameters defining the MHC's operation, as well as the metering of generated electricity, operating times, and various events occurring during operation (such as trips, generator start/stop events, etc.).

The application consists in two sections:

the monitoring section (a collection of interactive schematic diagrams relating to various MHC systems, displaying current values of monitored operating parameters, with any deviation beyond limits visually signaled accordingly).
the command section (organized as a set of 5 command options for MHC monitoring).

The application stores the values of monitored parameters, as well as a history of events and their causes, in a daily archive.
