GPS Receiver - GPS receiver with RS-232 serial interface
The GPS Receiver module allows the acquisition of data provided by a GPS receiver (absolute time reference – GMT, terrestrial coordinates, altitude, etc.) via an RS232 serial interface.
The module features a monoblock design with DIN rail mounting and a 5V DC supply voltage.
ServerGPS.exe, Windows-compatible software application ensures the GPS receiver module management. It provides the information to various clients and additionally updates the clock of the microsystem on which it is installed (system clock synchronization).
The GPS Receiver and ServerGPS.exe ensemble allow synchronization of the real-time clock in computer networks. Furthermore, the GPS Receiver system can be easily integrated into systems requiring the synchronization of their own real-time clocks (e.g., electrical event recording systems, protection systems, integrated systems, etc.).
